Around The Corner

The thought of leaving is on my mind. Around the corner, what will I find? Sooner or later, I will surely find out What college life is all about. The choices are many, the options are here, As I continue my senior year. Visiting colleges is a routine action, A campus tour could bring satisfaction. Going down a separate road, somewhere unknown, I'll soon be leaving the place where I've grown. Continuing my education will be an incredible thing, My memories and past, I will bring. Is this too much to put on my shoulders, Or is it just a part of growing older? Meeting new people, learning new things, Are some of what college will bring. As college nears, anticipation, As high school ends, jubilation. The thought of leaving is on my mind, Around the corner, what will I find?
